THE city might have been blanketed by thick smog on Wednesday evening, but it did not dampen the spirits of devotees gathering at the Tow Boo Keong temple to celebrate the last day of the Nine Emperor Gods Festival.
While a handful of them wore face masks to protect themselves from the choking haze, many of the devotees dressed in white were unfazed.
