THE public have been urged to become the eyes and ears of the Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ) in the latter’s efforts to check wrongful use of business licences in Petaling Jaya.

Starting next year, smartphone users will be able to check whether a business licence is valid and if it is being used for the right activity. This can be done by scanning the unique QR code printed on all business licences.
