Use right channelto seek funds, says rep

TEMPLE committees should go through proper channels to apply for renovation of the temples, Tanjung Bungah assemblyman Teh Yee Cheu said.

He said places of worship should register with the Registrar of Societies (RoS) as they can apply to the state government for assistance under a trust fund for non-Islamic houses of worship (Ribi) for maintenance, repairs, renovations and expansion work of these premises.
