KUCHING: The Asia For Animals Conference Borneo kicked off with a pledge between governments and non-governmental bodies to work more closely together.

At the welcoming dinner on Tuesday, organising chairman Rebecca D’Cruz, who is also chairman of the Sarawak Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SSPCA), spoke about the need for welfare bodies to collaborate with councils.
