KOTA KINABALU: A nitric acid spill along a road near a school in the industrial Kolombong area here has been neutralised by officials from the Department of Environment (DoE).
Kota Kinabalu police chief Asst Comm M. Chandra said that four officers from the DoE inspected and acted immediately to neutralise about 160 litres of nitric acid by spreading a white chemical powder compound on the spill.
