Hardcore poor in villages unable to secure BR1M

MIRI: There are many clusters of poor people in semi-rural kampungs in northern Sarawak who have not been given the Bantuan Rakyat 1Malaysia (BR1M) assistance, claimed PAS Sarawak.

The party’s state commissioner Jofri Jaraiee said that his party had found that many rural folk had failed to secure BR1M despite the fact that they are genuinely in need and had applied for the assistance.
