Shellfish farming the right way

A COCKLES Management Committee has been set up to look into creating a standard operating procedure for farming shellfish.

Perak Fisheries Department director Dr Bah Piyan Tan said the cockle farmers have no proper guidelines or standard practices and this could be affecting the cultivation of cockles in Kuala Sepetang.
