MANY parking lots in the heritage enclave of inner George Town in Penang were transformed into mini plots of culture and heritage, ideas and greenery under the inaugural Park(ing) Day initiative.

An estimated 50 parking spaces along 22 roads took on the appearance of a mini park, garden or a “go green” idea in each of the 13.38sq m lots.
