THE 18 participants of a festive card competition in Straits Quay, Penang, were a picture of concentration as they tried to outdo each other.

They had earlier made their way to the retail marina armed with items such as watercolour sets, scissors, hot glue guns and even hair dryers for the contest held in conjunction with the Mid-Autumn Festival.
