Dragon boat race attracts 12 local teams

KUCHING: Twelve local dragon boat teams took part in a race for the chance to take on international teams in the Sarawak International Dragon Boat Regatta this weekend.

The local participants comprised Pusaka, Sarkon Dragon Boat Club, Asaroz Kota Samarahan, GP Jang Sarawak, Land and Survey Department, Wani Wani Oyau Limbang and two teams each from the Federation of Kuching and Samarahan Divisions Chinese Associations, Unimas and Swinburne University Rowing Club.
