Studies underway to privatise solid waste management in Perak

THE Solid Waste Management and Public Cleanliness Corporation (SWCorp) has started conducting pilot projects within Perak to find out the best approach towards privatisation of solid waste management in the state.

Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abd Kadir said the projects were being carried out at the request of the state government in order to study its workability and effectiveness.
