Shades of grey in Malaysian skies

Maybank hockey players continue training for their upcoming league match despite the bad haze.

"We have not seen any action taken by the Health Ministry or the Education Ministry. Schools are still continuing with their morning assemblies, which are outdoors, and it is not good for the children.," said Lee Jen Uyin, another concerned parent living in Subang Jaya.

The haze has become such a regular occurrence that Malaysians jokingly refer to it as one of Malaysia's very own four seasons - dry season, rainy season, flood season, and haze season.
