MIRI: Important discussions have started between the Federal Government and the Sarawak state government over granting of autonomous control in several vital economic sectors.

Minister of Agriculture and Agro-based Industry Datuk Seri Shabery Cheek had met with Chief Minister Tan Sri Adenan Satem in Kuching to kickstart talks aimed at giving greater control for Sarawak in matters relating to policies and management of fisheries, agriculture and animal-farming industries.
