Sungei Wang Plaza has launched its annual thematic Mid Autumn Festival Celebration with the theme “A Thousand Lights, A Thousand Blessings”.

The highlight of the celebration would be its signature event “Sungei Wang Plaza Thousand Lanterns Parade”.

Complex manager Yuen May Chee said more than 500 lanterns would be given away before the parade commenced for shoppers.

“As we all know, lantern symbolises blessings or hopes and wishes in Chinese culture.

“Therefore we would like to use a thousand lights to represent a thousand hopes and blessings from our mall to our valuable shoppers,” she said.
