A NUMBER of on-street parking spaces around the George Town heritage enclave will be temporarily transformed into 'parks' for Penang's first Park(ing) Day celebration on Sept 19.
Citizens and community groups are invited to claim these 18ft x 8ft (5.4m x 2.4m) lots to create vibrant green spaces with their own items and materials and win attractive cash prizes.
