SEB chief says Sarawakians have to decide between cheap energy and preservation

KUCHING: About 2% of Sarawak’s landmass would be submerged under reservoirs if all the dams at potential sites were built, according to Sarawak Energy Bhd (SEB) chief executive Datuk Torstein Dale Sjotveit.

The trade-off between development and preserving nature is something Sarawakians will have to figure out.
