Walls and filters planned at storage areas

KUANTAN: Kuantan Port Consortium Sdn Bhd (KPC) will build a nine-metre-high wall at the bauxite-storage area at the port to reduce the effects of pollution from the mineral to local residents.

According to Beserah assemblyman, Andansura Rabu, KPC would also put up netting to prevent the bauxite dust from flying about.
