SANDAKAN: The Malaysian Armed Forces and United States Navy are on a 12-day joint military drill in the east coast waters of Sabah under the 21st annual Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) exercise 2015.

Malaysian Joint chief of staff Major General Datuk Kamalruzaman Mohd Othman said that the exercise, which began on Aug 10, was being carried out in waters off Sandakan and Lahad Datu.
