10,500 inmates on parole have good track record

JOHOR BARU: About 10,500 prisoners or 98.5% who were released on parole, for the past eight years, have successfully stayed out of trouble and embraced a positive outlook in life.

Prison Department parole division deputy director S Kausalya Devi said the high rates of prisoners on parole indicated that parolees had not violated the law during time served.
