The Bario Food Festival, also known as Pesta Nukenen, has grown considerably since its start 10 years ago as one of the country’s first successful food festivals, attracting large numbers of visitors from Sarawak and overseas.

With a new “lepo” or stage connected to the museum and cultural centre in Bario, the stage was set for this year’s edition to be the best festival ever.
