Attentive: A student counselling session in progress at Info Day.

KUCHING: There was a good crowd at Executive College’s (EC) Info Day last weekend, when visitors got to meet programme heads and lecturers to find out about the courses offered.

Themed Hi-Tea with Programme Heads, the event featured student counselling sessions, personality tests, demonstration of the college’s teaching and learning facilities, campus tour and interactive games.

The college offers a foundation programme and diploma in quantity surveying, which offers pathways to degree programmes in universities in Malaysia, Australia, Britain and Singapore.

It also offers Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Technology in Construction Management in collaboration with Infrastructure University Kuala Lumpur.

EC offers merit scholarships of up to RM12,000 per student and extra-curriculum excellence awards of up to RM7,200 per student.

The deadline for scholarship application is Sept 14.

Other financial assistance such as the National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN) is available for needy students to further their education at the college.

Meanwhile, EC’s September 2015 intake is still open for registration and classes commence on Sept 14. Each new student at EC is entitled to a free iPad mini as an integrated learning tool.

The college is open during office hours from Monday to Friday. Students interested to inquire about the courses are encouraged to bring along their academic results.
