S’gor government fully supports protection of national treasures

THE Selangor government is keen on listing Batu Caves, which it describes as one of its “national treasures”, as a national heritage site, said Selangor environment committee chairman Elizabeth Wong.

Wong, however, said Selangor was currently working on first getting Bukit Tabur (also known as Quartz Ridge) in Gombak, Selangor, gazetted as a national heritage site while preparing the scientific and technical information for Unesco World Heritage application.
