Getting rid of Aedes breeding sites


Ipoh city council cleaner cleaning up the surrounding on a gotong royong in curbing dengue outbreak.

UNDER a special operation, the local authorities are cleaning the compounds of abandoned houses in Taman Cempaka to curb the spread of dengue.

State Health Committee chairman Datuk Dr Mah Hang Soon said such action was necessary under “Ops X-Aedes Pecah Masuk Rumah Kosong” as the area was one of the identified hotspots in Perak.
