THE Seberang Prai Municipal Council has raised the bar by making it into the Malaysia Book of Records (MBR) as the first local authority in the country to have been given five certificates for practising quality management systems.
Council president Datuk Maimunah Mohd Sharif said the first certificate that the council obtained was the Quality Management System ISO 9001:2008 in 1999.
