KUCHING: Sarawak’s first ferrosilicon alloy manufacturer OM Materials (Sarawak) Sdn Bhd (OMS) has further raised output as its smelting plant in Samalaju Industrial Park, Bintulu, con- tinues to ramp up its produc- tion.
In the April-June quarter, a total of 16,294 tonnes of ferrosilicon was produced following the successful tapping of two more furnaces. This brought to total six furnances which had been commissioned.
