Penan children to get preschool education, thanks to Petronas scheme

KUCHING: Penan children below seven years old from five villages along Petronas’ Sabah and Sarawak gas pipeline will be able to receive early childhood education at the new schools sponsored by Petronas.

The five villages – Long Jenalong, Long Kerangan, Long Leng, Long Kawa and Long Selulong – were chosen for the company’s corporate social responsibility Penan community education programme as a pilot project for the next five years.
