Shaqwand is a stage persona created for LASSTreasure Shadow by comedian Papi Zak. Born at the shelter three months ago and perfectly healthy, her mother was saved when someone phoned in about an abandoned pregnant mum.
The country’s largest animal fundraising project and charity concert titled “Pawse for A Cause!” will host its second installation on Aug 15 at 7.30pm in Petaling Jaya Civic Centre.
More than 1,000 guests are expected to attend the concert organised to celebrate the project’s 25th anniversary.
