Council installs facilities for easy access to pedestrian bridge

THE Penang Island City Council (MBPP) has installed two traffic lights on Penang Road for the safety of roadusers as a RM6mil project to upgrade the four-legged Komtar overhead pedestrian bridge begins Wednesday.
 

Komtar assemblyman Teh Lai Heng said zebra crossings would also be drawn close to the new traffic lights units to enable pedestrians to gain easier access to the bridge.
