SIBU: The youth wings of SUPP Pelawan and Pending want the Education Ministry to rectify a chapter on the “birth of a nation” in the Primary School Curriculum Stan-dard (KSSR) Primary 5 history book.
In a joint press statement, SUPP Pelawan Branch secretary Michael Tiang and Pending Youth secretary Milton Foo said the history of Malaysia could not be underwritten and that the historical fact should be included in the syllabus that was Malaysia was formed on Sept 16, 1963.
