KOTA KINABALU: Local authorities are getting expert advice on whether to include quake resilient features into upcoming high-rise buildings following the June 5 Mount Kinabalu earthquake.
Kota Kinabalu mayor Datuk Abidin Madingkir said two new committees were set up following the 6.0 magnitude quake that killed 18 people on the mountain, to discuss the need to include quake resilient features on future buildings.
