KUCHING: Borneo Oil Bhd has opened its latest Pezzo pizza kiosk in SugarBun Assyakirin at the Assyakirin Commerce Square in Bintulu.
Pezzo brand deputy general manager Cathy Ting said this was the seventh kiosk in east Malaysia after one in Kota Kinabalu and six in Sarawak.
She said another 13 Pezzo kiosks were in the pipeline to be opened from now until year-end.
Pezzo Assyakirin is operated by the existing SugarBun franchisee.
“The opening of the Pezzo kiosk within SugarBun will complement the existing fast food business strategically,” Ting said, adding that Pezzo’s customer-friendly concept and affordable pricing would be attractive to the Bintulu market.
Pezzo is the largest grab-and-go pizza kiosk chain from Singapore. Borneo Oil acquired the East Malaysia Licence Agreement for the brand through its subsidiary company SB Supplies and Logistics Sdn Bhd last year.
Borneo Oil is also the brand owner of SugarBun, the largest homegrown quick service restaurant in Sarawak with 64 franchise restaurants.
At Pezzo, customers can mix and match their pizzae.

Mania and Fisherman’s Favourite under the Gala series, priced at RM7.95 nett per slice.
Customers can puchase any three slices for RM20 nett while a whole pizza is sold at RM39.80 nett.
