Carrying on the family tradition

Gracious act: Mohd Ferdaus (purple baju Melayu) distributing food to the needy while his sister Hafizah (black baju kurung) gives away duit raya to them at the Muslim cemetery in Perak Road, Penang.

IT has been G Hotel senior sales manager Mohd Ferdaus Md Taib’s family tradition to distribute food and duit raya to the needy on the last day of Ramadan.

The 44-year-old continued his late father and grandfather’s legacy, which has been in practice for more than 20 years, by bringing Hari Raya joy to some 200 people at the Perak Road Muslim cemetery in George Town, Penang.
