SIBU: Police here are now zooming on foreigners on a short stay at the slum areas in town as they could be crime perpetrators.

District police chief ACP Mohd Kamal Kordi said at a breaking of fast-cum-dialogue with the Sibu Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCCI) on Tuesday night that the slum areas were once populated by locals from the rural areas but foreigners were now renting houses there.
