MALAYSIAN youths have been urged to exercise discretion when reading and sharing news on social media such as Facebook and Twitter to avoid spreading false news.

Commenting on the rioting that occurred at Low Yat Plaza in Kuala Lumpur over the weekend, Tanjong MCA Youth chief Lim Swee Bok said Malaysians should keep calm and not be too emotional over reports of the incident which they read on social media.
