Adenan urged to reprimand SEB chief

KUCHING: Sarawak Energy Bhd (SEB) chief executive officer Datuk Torstein Dale Sjotveit’s dismissal of professional studies on the impact of mega dams in the state is “arrogant and anti-intellectual”, according to state PKR vice-chairman See Chee How.

See said the state government should haul up Sjotveit to explain why he rubbished the studies by Prof Daniel Kammen and Dr Rebekah Shirley from the University of California, Berkeley, as “nonsense”, and urged Chief Minister Tan Sri Adenan Satem to reprimand him.
