A TOTAL of 12 government-linked and private corporations and non-governmental organisations gave more than RM21.51mil in zakat to the Majlis Agama Islam Perak.
The tithes, being contributions for last year, was received by Sultan of Perak Sultan Dr Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah during a buka puasa event hosted by the Ruler at Istana Iskandariah in Kuala Kangsar on Saturday.
