KOTA KINABALU: Mudslides and flash floods will continue in at least four rivers flowing from Mount Kinabalu as the effects of the June 5 earthquake continues to be felt.
Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) geologist Prof Felix Tongkul said the once pristine waterways – Kadamaian and Penataran to the west of the mountain and Mesilau Kiri and Mesilau Kanan – have been ecologically destroyed.
