Concert to present classics ‘from the new world’

THREE renowned compositions by Schubert, Eybler and Dvorak will be presented by the Penang Philharmonic Orchestra tomorrow at Dewan Sri Pinang.

Guest conductor Datuk Seri Ooi Chean See will be helming the 70-member ensemble in the three selections, featuring Schubert’s overture from Die Zauberharfe, D.644, Eybler’s Clarinet Concerto in B-flat Major, HV160 and Dvorak’s Symphony no.9 in E minor, Op. 95 in the performance ‘From The New World’.
