AN ASSORTMENT of drugs worth more than RM627,000 was destroyed in conjunction with International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking.

Penang police chief Senior Deputy Comm Datuk Wira Abdul Rahim Hanafi said they secured a court order to dispose of the drugs.
