Sharing is caring: The children of Rumah Anak Yatim Al Munirah in Klang before the buka puasa treat by Manipal Hospitals Klang.

Forty-eight children of Rumah Anak Yatim Al Munirah in Klang were given a buka puasa treat by Manipal Hospitals Klang on the first Sunday of Ramadan.

Doctors, nurses and staff members joined the children and staff of the orphanage at a buka puasa dinner at Rumah Anak Yatim Al Munirah and also entertained them with song and dance performances.

Manipal Hospitals Malaysia operations head Raman Bhaskar said the treat was in line with the spirit of Ramadan during which Muslims are encouraged to think of those who are less fortunate.

“As the Muslims fast and also practice generosity during this holy month, we in Manipal Hospitals Klang see it as a good opportunity and appropriate to also join in, reflect on our blessings and give back to the community.

“We are glad that we are able to be of assistance to Rumah Anak Yatim Al Munirah in our neighbourhood and able to bring cheer to the children,” he added.
