Its Legal and Public Complaints Bureau chief Jason Loo said this would allow Penangites to pay less than the current price offered by the developer in Paya Terubong.
He said although the state government had explained that the affordable housing scheme only came into the picture after the project was approved, it could still reverse the decision for the benefit of Penangites.
