MANY 24-hour restaurants in neighbourhoods throughout Selayang may have to lay off some of their workers if the Selayang Municipal Council (MPS) goes ahead with its ruling to limit their opening hours.
Malaysian Indian Muslim Restaurant Owners Association (Presma) president Noorul Hassan Saul Hameed said the 18-hour ruling might force owners to terminate excess workers.
