YONG PENG: Although losing her right leg from knee-down two years ago due to diabetes, a 57-year-old grandmother is taking a positive outlook on life.
Sakdiah Majid, who suffered from diabetes and kidney failure six years ago, said she was just thankful to be alive and being able to spend another Ramadan with her two children and two grandchildren.
