BUSINESSMAN Lee Yok Nging stood out at a bak chang festival event — he was the only male contestant in a competition to make the glutinous rice dumpling, a skill traditionally known to be dominated by women.

The 40-year-old father of two wowed judges and guests further when he emerged as the first and second prize winner of the traditional and creative categories respectively in the bak chang-making challenge organised by the Penang Chinese Town Hall Wanita (PCTH) wing.
