BEING a full-time teacher, Nur Azian Zaini found it difficult to balance work and caring for her youngest daughter who had Down Syndrome.

The 42-year-old mother of six was so thankful that her burden was reduced after enrolling her daughter Afaf Fudhila Asyraf, 4, in Perak’s first nursery for intellectually disabled children below the age of four.
