Nepalese workers get aid for their families back home

JOHOR BARU: A total of 358 Nepalese workers from Port of Tanjung Pelepas (PTP) received monetary aid to help their families who were affected by the April earthquake in their home country.

PTP deputy chief executive officer Hanif Hamid said RM20,000 was channelled to help the workers and their families through Mercy Malaysia as the company’s social responsibility programme.
