MUSIC filled Dataran Merdeka as participants marched to the beat of the drums at the opening ceremony of the Kuala Lumpur International Youth Marching Band Competition (KLIYMBC) .
As the road beside Dataran Merdeka was cordoned off at 6pm, contestants aged between 10 and 45 were seen rehearsing in uniform all around the square and road.
