SIBU: Dayak youths need a lot of catching up to understand the actual meaning of Gawai Dayak celebration, according to Tamin assemblyman Datuk Joseph Mauk Ikeh.

Speaking at Sarawak Malaysian Armed Forces Veteran Association’s Ngiling Bidai, a ceremony to end the Gawai Dayak celebration on Sunday night, Joseph said it was regretable to note that many Dayak youths of today failed to understand the actual purpose of the harvest festival.
