A MEMORANDUM of agreement was signed between Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) and National Institute of Occupational Safety & Health (NIOSH), which will see both parties collaborating in research projects to enhance the safety and health of TM employees at the workplace.
The research projects, revolving around the aspect of non-ionising radiation (NIR) will cover two topics: medical surveillance for staff who are potentially exposed to the radiation; and, knowledge, attitude and practice on Occupational Safety & Health for staff who are potentially exposed to the radiation.
