MIRI: Sarawak Progressive Democratic Party (SPDP) president Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing says he has received complaints of political interference in the appointment of grassroot community chiefs.

Tiong, who is Bintulu MP, said yesterday he had been informed by numerous longhouse chiefs and village heads that unethical conditions were being imposed by certain quarters on the selection process.
